An extremely beautiful village that has been inhabited before records started The proof of this can be found in the remains of hut circles that still exist, an Iron Age fort on Hunters Tor and the wonderful Datuidoc's Stone (dated AD 450 to 600 - the earliest Christian Stone to be found in Lustleigh) that can be found on display in the village church. Some other places you may like to visit whilst here are the Cleave pub (16c Inn) and Primrose Cottage, a thatched tearoom that makes lunches, homemade cakes and cream teas.
